Singapore Report first 2 death - Covid 19

Singapore reported her first 2 death due to Covid 19 today. Will there be panic buying on the local Supermarket? Or Panic Selling in the Stock Market ?

STI Index last closed was at 2400.
I predict this gonna be along long winter. Back in 2009, STI index dropped to 1470 pts, (10 mths to drop!) it takes at least 4 mths to cover back to 2600pts.

Portfolio Update - 20 Mar 20

Portfolio Update - 20 Mar 20

Due to the fact that most of my Stocks are bought on the high side, I did not do too badly compare to STI.

STI Return to date is -26.0%, compare to my own Portfolio, -6.0%.

All my stocks are in Red, but there is nothing to be panic. My return is not too shabby compared to STI .
As this is my long term investment till I retire which is another 20 yrs later, I still got time to hold this counters.

Corona Virus - How it Affect your Portfolios ?

Since the Corona Virus Pandemic, STI had lost 26% from its High Point of 3282 back in February 2020.
Currently, I believe it is building a Support line at 2400 to 2500. In a couple of days or weeks its Might goes down to the other Support Line (2000 pts). Let wait and see from the side lines.

If you notice from the chart above,  YR2020's drop have surpassed the Index felt in 2016.
Most of the Analysts predict, the support for 2400-2500 do not tends to hold. The index might drop further 2000 or sub 1600.

Currently, Singapore Blue Chips Stocks and SReits look pretty cheap. At this moment, I am not 100% vested, I still have a 40% Warchest that still waiting for the right time to be deployed.
On the next post, I will share my insights on my Watchlist.
